

Author's Biography: Michelle Davies
Michelle Davies has served as Marketing Manager for the UK office since January 1999. Since that time Michelle's role has evolved to Client Consultant, whilst still retaining responsibility for marketing activity of the UK office.
Prior to joining RAN ONE, she helped to develop the largest network of independent legal practices in the UK. Working within that network for seven years, she was part of the senior management group, with responsibility for IT Strategy, Operations and Marketing. Her role involved negotiating outsourcing contracts with major banks and building societies, connecting over 400 legal practices electronically and quality control.
Following a stint at Art School in the late 80's, Michelle quickly moved into design and advertising. Her move from the North of England to London was made in 1991 to take up a position with Saatchi & Saatchi.
Her passion for creativity in business led her to marketing. She has various post-graduate qualifications in both business and marketing - following a 3-year stint at Kingston Business School where she undertook a part-time Masters in Business specialising in Marketing (1997). She then continued to focus her energy solely on marketing, and qualified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Following successful CPD she was awarded the Chartered Marketer status in July 2000.
Michelle has written various articles and templates specifically for professional services firms. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Institute of Management.
